Once again, Dream had found himself in the middle of a forest nearby to L'manberg at midnight, awaiting his boyfriend— Fundy— to show up. This was the third night in the row they had done this, and it was the only way they were able to meet up due to Wilbur's... Distaste towards Dream. "Hey." A familiar voice hushed, his head comfortably nuzzling into the back of Dream's neck. "Hey..." Dream echoed, turning enough to plant a gentle kiss on Fundy's temple. It was comfortable for them to get to spend time like this together, and yet... Something always seemed to nag at Dream's mind.
"...You know we... Can't keep doing this." He hesitantly spoke up, holding his breath as he waited for the response. "What do you mean?" Fundy asked, quietly moving to take Dream's mask off, concerned brown eyes meeting Dream's green ones. "...It's... Not safe. What if someone finds out? What if *Wilbur* finds out? I can't risk that, not for me but for you—" The ramblings were cut short by Fundy gently placing a finger on Dream's lips. "Then let's leave." A slight smile played on his lips as he moved his finger to gently trace over his boyfriend's jawline. "You... Don't mean that. What about your dad? Our... Lives here?" Dream's eyebrows furrowed, confusion apparent on their expression.
"I mean it, Dream." Fundy reiterated, taking a deep breath. "For you, I would give up everything. I would leave behind it all at a drop of a hat if you told me you wanted to get out of here." The fox's smile didn't falter as he gently kissed his boyfriend's lips. "Just say the word and we'll leave. Start a whole new life, together. No worries about all of this... Just us." There was a moment of silence as Dream stared at Fundy, their green eyes beginning to well up with tears. "...Let's go." They hushed under their breath. "Let's... Let's go! Let's leave and... And see what's out there for us!"
Fundy let out an excited laugh, practically jumping into Dream's arms. (Luckily, Dream was quick to catch him.) "Let's get going then, babe!" He chirped, his arms loosely wrapped around Dream's neck, as Dream held him up bridal style. "O— Okay!" Dream laughed, moving so he could pepper Fundy's face in gentle kisses. After a moment of hesitant looking around, he started heading off in one direction. "We're... We're really doing this!" He laughed, prompting a nod from Fundy. "We are! We're... Going to start a new life! Together!"
