after 100s of job applications, dozens of interviews, being constantly rejected or ghosted, over a month of unemployment, and changing fields I finally have a goddamn job. I'm a early childhood education teacher now. I start my paperwork and such tomorrow

We broke out the fav to celebrate a successful week. Settled into my new place with all the help from @this-incredible-journey. Now it's off to Vegas and an epic golf trip. Then come back and start a new job. What a whirlwind this year has been. So far...

I still haven’t made it out to the bank — you all are too much fun to talk to — but I did just get another phone interview scheduled for Wednesday now, so that’s some good news.

i quit what i thought was gonna be my dream job without any real concrete plan for the future other than "i want to get better". i dont know whats next and it's scary and it's wonderful and i think this time im really going to do it. i want to get better i want to be more than the knot of trauma tying up all of the space in my brain. i want to be more than the eating disorder that's been killing me for 12 years. i want more for myself and i earned the right to create more OF myself
