Speaking of Japanese doom metal, here is my favourite Corrupted record. Was a massive influence on young little me. Its transcendentally beautiful. Corrupted are one of those bands that despite every "real head" (rightfully) raving about them constantly, still do not get the attention they deserve - at least as much as Boris or Sunn O))).

THERGOTHON Finland --------- Band photos and their collective discography, their 1991 demo EP titled "Fhtagn-nagh Yog-Sothoth" - and their only LP, 1994, titled "Stream From The Heavens" -------------------------------- A short-lived, yet extremely important contribution of projects towards the doom metal genre, practically creating Funeral Doom alongside other peers like Stormcrowfleet (from Finland as well...) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Heavy, atmospheric, drawn out, not quite from this world....
