Burial Options For Discussion
Although many people find it uncomfortable to talk about the fact of the matter is that one day we are all going to shuffle off this mortal coil. the sooner we discuss burial options with our loved ones and make our preferences known less traumatic that experience will be for that who must say their final goodbyes.
There are a number of options available for those who want to choose their final resting place. The choice is one that is deeply personal - and one that should be taken with all due care. It is often the case (or so one would wish) that the final place of rest is where many will visit to seek comfort and to simply remember the love and care that they shared with the deceased. Just as decisions in life may provide that comfort - so will the decision of the burial option.
There are two popular burial choices that many people will wish to evaluate. These depend on largely on the circumstance, financial constraints and - in many cases, the legal constraints that are in place regarding that final resting place. Here are some of the options that are available.
The first of these is in ground burial - which is also the most traditional of options. A number of factors will come into play for those who wish to explore this type of burial. These may include a wish to follow tradition and family practice, the wish to be interred near loved ones or the fact that burial of this type allows those who visit the burial site to enjoy the feeling that the deceased is at one with both those who have passed and the natural environment.
The second option is an above-ground burial in a 'community' mausoleum. This option will allow for the casket to be stored above ground. It may be a popular option where groundwater may make the in-ground option one that may present problems. This option also allows loved ones to visit the burial site and be sheltered from the elements when paying their respects. There is another related option - and this is burial in a family mausoleum. This option allows multiple members of a family to be interred in a private structure, fostering a sense of continuity and often a sense of family.
Of course, there are numerous other options at Eternity Funerals - including cremation. As mentioned the choice is an extremely personal one - but one that should be discussed with those nearest and dearest.
