During the 1970s the block party was a party in which many members of a single community congregated for mutual solidarity and fun. The name comes from the form of the party, which often involves closing an entire city block to vehicle traffic, while the power for the DJ's sound system was taken illegally from streetlights. Enjoy the old school sound of the block party, every song is taken from my original vinyl record collection!
