Red Hot Chili Peppers - Funky Crime

I decided a week ago I'd go through RHCP's complete discography - mainly because I'd heard so many great things about their 80s music. Uplift Mofo Party Plan is probably my favourite album actually; it's bursting with youthful energy and grinning irreverence and is probably the only true album of 'funk-punk' fusion that they apparently pioneered. It's fabulous fun. 

My second favourite Chili album? Well, I have three second favourites: Mother's Milk, Freakey Styley, and By The Way. Yes, I know.

BTW, I'm deadly serious.  

(I couldn't resist. Slap me).

((Oh, and apparently Pixies and RHCP toured together once when this album was their latest thing. God, if there was one concert I would sell parts of my soul to see, at the moment, it would be that.))
