Okay, so, this man is Jon Toogood. He is the front man of one of New Zealand’s greatest rock bands, Shihad. I have idolised him for so long, and I’ve been to so many of Shihad’s concerts, and I’ve tried to meet him so many times. I WAS NOT EXPECTING HIM TO BE THERE, AND I FREAKED. No one was recognising him, and he was just walking so I called him over, and he headed straight for me and signed my card with the biggest smile on his face. I CRIED SO FUCKING HARD. I HAVE WANTED TO MEET THIS MAN FOR SO LONG AND I FINALLY GOT TO WHEN I LEAST EXPECTED IT.
Met the band a handful of times. Easily some of the nicest and most down to earth people you could meet. Always happy to sign anything and have a bit of a chat. Such cool dudes.
