Funnel-Web Suit Mock-Up #1

I’ve been experimenting with Funnel-Web’s true outfit through the use of mockups (basically cutting and pasting PNG’s together) and I figured I might aswell share what I’ve got so far! I wanted to create something that emanates both an ‘Urban Hero’ and  ‘Advanced Tech’ feel, so I combined the top half of the Last Stand Suit and the bottom half of the Dark Suit (Both from Spider-Man for the PS4).  Theres still some things I want to change, such as giving them some different gloves and a unique logo that isn’t just stolen from the advanced Spidey Suit. (A big thanks to @ask-spider-man-61610​ for suggesting the logo too, its got its practical reasons I’ll probably list down when I’ve perfected the mock-up.)  And lastly, I would need to give them their trademark cap! Which I may have to leave for a commission, because one day I’ll get art for Funnel, I swear it.. Hope you enjoy this lazy clipped together sight!

Hey everyone!! It’s Something Decent Saturday again!  ANd for this week, I have my Spider-persona!  I decided to model her after 2 Australian spiders, the funnelweb and the redback.  I may have been born in Canada, but I’m an Australian now. Plus Australia’s spiders are way scarier/awesomer.

17. empty

Empty. Now that's a word with range.  An empty chair? Sounds comfy. How ‘bout an empty glass? Better get a refill. Now let's say... an empty grave? What comes to mind? For me? What came to mind was another of those patented New York mysteries, ones that I always seemed to get wrapped up in, especially just before dinner.  My hand brushed through the upturned dirt that caked the empty graves ring, the aged earth dried and rough as it sifted between my gloved fingers, falling back into the pile with barely a sound. All a pile of old dirt could tell me was that whoever was buried here had stayed that way for quite a while, which meant either they got removed, or god forbid... escaped. But that was ridiculous, people crawling out of their own graves only happens in movies and comic books, right? Turning my head back, I shifted my gaze to the gravestone at the holes head, catching a glimpse of the words inscribed in stone. ‘Here lies Marc Spector’

Heyo, Funnel! If you had any pets, what would they be?

My world doesn’t have as many pets around as it did before. Ever since the Symbiotes began mooching off our planet, we’ve had countless cases of people finding Klyntar bonded to pets and local wildlife, and in other cases... just straight up eaten alive.  Its been a decade or two after that, and things are a bit better. We’ve got dedicated Symbiote catching agencies and more animal protection to prevent any deaths or hostings. Local wildlife has been accounted for too, like the birds that hang out here in New York. State systems keep careful track of bird populations and activity in conjunction with symbiote watch groups to help them stay safe.  If anything, it's more work for me. I’ve risked my wellbeing rounding up an infected animal or two in the name of public safety, and I’ve got claw marks to prove it!  ...I just realized I forgot to answer the question.  In all honesty, I don’t think I’ve got it in me to own a pet, I sure like taking care of other peoples pets. We’ve got this Cat in the Chelsea Markets that wanders around everyday, so me and everyone running shops there always feed it and keep it safe.
