Welcome to Jean Grey’s Academy for the Gifted! Meet Stink, espionage expert and former leader of the 2nd Generation X-Men before Savoir.

Stink was part of Jean Grey’s first X-Men team. While many teammates moved on, he stayed because he loved the thrill of being an X-Man. Phillip is ride-or-die for his team and takes pride in his mutant identity.

His skunk mutation once isolated him, but now he’s confident, proud of his abilities, and even his soft, well-groomed skunk tail. To manage his scent, he bathes in perfume and is never caught smelling bad—except by enemies.

Stink’s powers include heightened senses, potent methane spray from his palms (which can knock out foes or melt metals), and extreme athleticism. He’s a proud example of what it means to be an X-Man.

I can’t believe I drew this! I put so much work into it—using tons of references and debating what to keep or change from his old design. In the end, I went for a complete revamp.

I turned him from a stinky loser into a confident, pretty boy with a Jamaican background who embraced his gifts instead of letting them hold him back. I also aged him up to show he’s been an X-Man for a while.

To top it off, I made it funny—he smells amazing because he’s obsessed with perfume and cologne to counteract his natural odor. Hope you like this veteran member! Next up: Dead Hulk!

It is finally time, after 2 years, Riley once again has a new reference. I am extremely happy with this one. The layout of everything was the hardest part for me...
