Humans are so silly. Like Americans for example, did you know humans from America keep so many flags around their homes and pathways cause otherwise they would forget what country they are in?

No, but I seriously love call and response humor. Sometimes, my little squirrel addled brain does something ridiculous, and I'm stuck with the aftermath of losing grip on my sense of impulse control. So, in lieu of an explanation, I just do a series of three claps and a hand gesture followed by a dead pan, "Performance art."

BUT here's the fun part. It's gotten to the point where when I issue the beginning of the sequence, the kids at work have gotten into solemnly saying the verbal part right on que with me.

Like, I don't know when they agreed upon that being the thing to do, or if there was even conversation held before the decision was made, but it's mad funny and I'm absolutely delighted that the children are picking it up.

like, imagine a human hanging out with an alien that developed with no need for facial recognition and they just start sob-laughing -- the alien asks what’s up and human show a picture of like, a garbage can and the alien just 😐
