10. ~One of my muse’s loved ones has died, and yours must console them.~
It had been days since the funeral of her family, so many empty condolences, so many questions of what she could of done.
Sitting in the living room of the once vibrant family, Noriko sat before the T.V. as it rattled on about a topic she had long since tuned out. Maiko was taking a nap upstairs and her Aunt was out on another mission. Continuing to stare blankly at the T.V. screen, the Ayaka was snapped out of her haze when she heard a knock on her door.
Thinking that it was just her aunt returning home, she sat still, waiting for her to let herself in. However, her thoughts were soon proved wrong when the knocking became louder. Standing up, Noriko walked towards the door.
Cyan lenses widening to the size of saucers when she saw none other than the Fourth Mizukage along with some other body guards.
Her first instinct was to beg for her life out of fear, however her nerves were settled when she remembered hearing about how the Kage was going around to give condolences to those who had lost their family members during the war.
“A-aa, um...” Her voice creaky and on the verge of breaking, the Ayaka slowly opened the door, her head bowed to stare at her shaking feet. “P-Please come in Mizukage sama.” She stuttered out, motioning towards the living room.
