I've arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam! Entry through customs was the fastest and easiest I've ever experienced, and thanks to my friends here the taxi driver was waiting with my name on a board to bring me and an American teenager to my pre-booked hotel, Viet Village. The Hotel is practically luxurious, I've got an ensuite bathroom & minibar and I had to take a lift to get up to the 5th floor! It's the first time I've used a lift in a year. I got some spending money before I left Aus too, now I'm in Vietnam, I'm a millionaire! The VND200,000 pictured is equivalent to about £6/K27. Really looking forward to exploring Hanoi with my friends soon, however one of them is sick, which is a bummer, so please pray he gets better soon. Holiday starts now!
