Merlin leans back when he feels Eggsy’s hands on his shoulders, and sighs. “Hello to you too, Galahad.” He murmurs gently, reaching up to hold his hand for a moment. “You don’t need to do this….” But he’s not resisting as he leans into the touches, the affection. “You’re too sweet to me.”

Eggsy hummed as he leaned in closer and pressed a kiss to the back of Merlin’s neck as he worked his hands across his shoulders. He did pause though, when he felt a hand on his, lips curling into a smile. “I know I don’t need to,” he chuckled a little, moving to work the tense muscles just below Merlin’s skull. “But I had to come say hullo and remind you to take a break. Y’even been to sleep yet?”

Eggsy doesn’t remember falling asleep but he must have, he must have dozed off at his desk, finishing his mission reports, but the papers scattered across his desk and floor were the last things on his mind. In fact, the first thing on his mind is the vivid dream he’d had. It had been almost painfully real, he still wasn’t sure that it WASN’T if he was completely honest. But it... It had to be fake, didn’t it?Because he was standing with Harry, back at the man’s home, the very one that Eggsy had taken up as his own. Harry was getting ready to begin his lesson about proper dining etiquette. Maybe it had all been a dream, losing the only father figure he’d really ever known, one of the few who had truly believed in him and pushed him into being a better Eggsy. The young man had turned to say something to Harry, only to have the entire world shift, and suddenly he was on the ground beside the man, blood pooling around his knees as shifted onto them and tried to figure out how the hell to save him.He awoke with a violent start as Merlin begged him to wake, finding himself on the floor of his office, breath coming in heaves. It took him a second to focus on Merlin, trembles running up and down his spine.“M-Merlin?” He asked in a hoarse voice. “F-Fuck, I... I’m sorry.”

Eggsy hacked violently and spat into the toilet, his arm trembling as he wiped his mouth. Tilde was a fucking star, taking care of him after he’d come home in a medical chopper. The mission had gone south faster than Eggsy could say bonkers; he’d been made and drugged, only days after being planted. And boy, these fuckers didn’t pull any punches.He leaned back into the hand rubbing over his back, every inch of his skin dampened with sweat as his eyes slid up to look at his girlfriend. Some how, he found the strength to quirk his lips, and offer a weak joke of, “give us a kiss?”

Eggsy wheezed as he looked up at Tequila, a hand on his side where he had taken the bullet. Blood seeped past his paling digits as he tried to work out what had happened into words. “Fuckin’ moonshine missed.” It was all he could say as he crumpled, his free hand reaching out and grasping desperately at the other agent. He managed to catch the other’s arm, preventing the crash that he’d been heading for, stopping Eggsy on his knees.

He’d dozed off, only to wake up with a hot body against his. Lips were on his neck, sucking softly while a hand dove down the front of his trousers. “Oh fuck.” Eggsy breathed out, eyes fluttering closed again as he bucked into Tequila’s hand. “You fuckin’ tease.”
