I've lamented the size of the furby fandom recently, very few people are active members (And I love all of y'all) but it's to the degree where I often meet furby community members in different, non-connected furby spaces (which is fun and amazing, love it, but it reminds me of how small this community is!) so this year, I've decided that I am going to be supporting small businesses that provide furby merch, and showing you guys how I personally make many of the furbies that I make, to help aid artists in this space to make a living AND help you guys who have a smaller budget still partake in this hobby. I encourage everyone to share their favorite small furby businesses, and to share their crafting inspiration, tutorials, and tips here on tumblr with the tag #Furbyrevival!
Of course, I alone can't make a huge difference in this community, and that's why we all need your help! We may be few but we are PASSIONATE and we love these critters! To kick this off I'll be hosting a giveaway as soon as my carpal tunnel goes away, so I can sew a new furby to offer to y'all. Let's revive this community a bit, in any way we can <3
