The ESL Impact finals today were good CS and an absolutely wild example of transphobia and specifically transmisogyny in gaming.
The home crowd stadium was EMPTY. Nobody shows up to see the women's league... but those who did cheered against the American team with "send them home", primarily men, showing up to hate on the women it is acceptable to hate.
Excellent CS, girls. The gameplay was great, the hatred that fell over the whole event was absurd. Furia Fe deserved the win, but I can't help but feel that Supernova Comets got disheartened after map one, despite a stellar 35 kill performance by Empathy in the first map. Just not a friendly arena.
