I am not much of a ramen guy but I had friends who wanted to check out Furious Spoon. I'm always up for trying a new place so I was happy to join them. Walking in, it has a pretty sleek vibe and great atmosphere. I was last to arrive amd I joined my friends at the bar. A very friendly bartender with a big smile came right over to offer me a beverage. Definitely a great start to a restaurant experience that I wasnt convinced that I would enjoy. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward. I know that I like added spice as well as shrimp amd pork belly so I kind of created my own bowl with added heat, protein and a few veggies. My friends tried a few different bowls. The food did take awhile to arrive but mine was outstanding!! Very spicy, very hearty with protein as well as fresh veggies, crisp and fresh. This bowl really was a great meal. Unfortunately, my friends didnt have quite the same experience. Their orders were confused and neither of them got what they had wanted. So, not only did they wait a fairly long time, but then they had to wait again for a correct order. We did get offered a round of drinks, which kept everyone content. Their food took less time the second time around and everything came out perfectly this time. In the end, they were happy but it took some work to get us there. I would give them another try but not so sure about my friends, even though their issue was corrected. Luke warm recommendation after an up and down experience. Have a great day!!
