Do you think its possible that sense we are just souls inhibiting a body that some spirits or ghost might just be other 'human' souls? I've also wondered what's your opinion on when we die; do you think we actually go anywhere, maybe a different plane, just 'float' around, reincarnation....?

To be honest, even I'm not sure what's going on there. Personally I believe that spirits are people who haven't been able to move on to the other side, because the dead have a different place to go than the living. Where that place is or what it consists of, I'm not sure. It's all a case of belief, and my beliefs involve a lot of different things. I believe those who still have things to do and learn are reincarnated. I believe others have jobs to do where they are, and so they move on. I believe some people have done all they need to do and are at peace.

I'm not sure what I believe in terms of hell - I think maybe they're just reincarnated until they learn their lesson, but not in the case of shit happening to them, just in the case that they have a lot to learn. This might be because of my views on revenge and things, though. I don't tend to have faith that those who wronged me will be punished in an afterlife, I'd much rather raise shit myself and get to watch.

But basically I believe it varies depending on the person, and there is a different plane that we have to go to, and those who can't reach it for whatever reason can stay behind as spirits.

I was laying in bed (basement) thinkin bout stuff & was just staring into the dark & this very bright white flash of light, no noise, came from the corner of my room, the corner of the wall & my door, it wasn't storming,I've no idea what it could be but it was for about 2 secs & then it was gone, to me it was like a bright camera flash; no plug in's, windows, etc. near where the flash came from. It was 11pm & I was wide awake when it happened.I was the only 1 home. could it have been paranormal?

There are a lot of reports of this and a lot of them do have normal explanations. The most common explanation is actually lightning, which is incredibly bright and can sometimes appear without clouds or rain, or any storm at all. Lightning can also be seen in places that are too far away to hear the accompanying thunder, making the flashes pretty unexpected.

Another common explanation is a simple case of eyes playing tricks, or mild eye problems. I won't go into too much detail as I'm not really well trained in this area, but sometimes things known as "floaters" in the eye can cause these effects, or it could be a sign of another issue. It's probably nothing to worry about, as these reports are quite common - there are loads of people wondering about unexplained flashes of light in forums everywhere.

If it's neither of those things, it could be worth checking into the paranormal. I haven't seen any explanation regarding this that doesn't involve UFOs, so maybe that's where you should look rather than spirits.
