They're both freaks and not in the good way. Wait wait I think @/piosplayhouse literally made this AU. I remember it involving closed species drama. Anyways yeah, YQY is a moderator and SJ is his little kitten who gets free run of the community with no consequences. People leave all the time cause SJ is so toxic and will genuinely blow up at you over nothing, and then YQY will come in and go "well maybe both sides have a point :)" and refuse to take any action.

I'll keep it brief: it is not concerned with any of the imagery, sensory, goals, or themes of furry works. If you were to put it against Patricia Taxxon's proposed three axes of furry works (Symbolic, Sensory, Autistic), it would fail all three. It is a "human male on female anthro" (HMOFA) story, with the whole goal being that a bland, unremarkable, ordinary man is paired with an exotic, beautiful, remarkable, anthropomorphic woman. In other words, a lonely male audience stand-in and a furry waifu to obsess over. That's kind of the underlying problem with all HMOFA works, which is why they haven't broken into the mainstream, unlike their gender-reversed counterpart, HFOMA (Beauty and the Beast, The Shape of Water, any werewolf romance novel, etc.)
To me, I've always seen HMOFA stuff as the next step after "I'm not a furry but..." Guys who are entranced by the visual aesthetics of furry characters but refuse to be part of it themselves. Maybe it's because of anti-furry stigma, I don't know. Quit using faceless mannequin men as stand-ins and make a fursona already.
