fursuit stuff!!!

i recently finished refurbing my fursuit head i first made back in middle school, and i love how he came out!!

His name is Willow!! Expect more fursuit stuff in the future, since i definitely would like to pursue it as a career option <3

Juvu Head Refurb

Breathing some new life into Juvu the Amphiptere! My client originally commissioned this piece from another maker, back in 2018, did not receive the head until 2022, and found it to be unwearable. The main things we wanted to fix up was the vision, muzzle for breathability, and the fabric which was low quality and shed a TON. One thing led to another and this guy is basically an entirely new head! The foam used in the original head tore as I removed the fabric, this was due to the density of the foam. This was a learning experience, getting to disassemble a head and see how it was put together. I plan to make a video going over most of the process of making this guy! It will be available to patrons first before being made public!

Furs used: Light Brown from BigZ, and Camel from BigZ.

A update from the Monsta House! We are currently cozied up (when not at our actual jobs) playing video games, and working on our first refurb project! It’s exciting to be slowly but surely rebuilding this bod into the newest member of the monsta family.

Issues and “to do” with this project:

First and foremost remove and replace all pink portions as they are specific to the original character. Bring in new design elements to turn this bod into a whole new monsta and match our own character plan. Add claws to feet. Design and create hands, new tail, and head.

Extend collar to sit closer to the wearers neck and prevent gapping during active wear, replace trim with bias tape matching new color palette. Fix low back asymmetry, fix crotch asymmetry and sag. Repair or replace hmmmmm almost all seams due to going off the backing, misalignment, basting or otherwise uneven and gappy stitching, large amounts of excess trapped fur and material, unfinished ends resulting in unraveling and holes, and usage of upholstery thread which is not a preferred material in monsta suits. Replace zipper to reduce visibility and add length for easier suit up/down. Adjust shoulder fit for comfort and mobility. Create and insert pillows for body shaping so he doesn’t rely on loose polyfill. Replace internal foot situation for secure, comfortable, durable wear. Round out heel slightly to reduce angularity. Brush and pick all seams to reduce visibility and smooth overall look.

Grumperhead sabertooth Skye cabbit. We edited Skye's first head to have better eyes because they were too small and too dark. So now she's got 2D grump eyes as well as some sweet saber teeth to make her slightly more ferocious.
