I really want to save up for a new suit and wear it at cons but having the horrible experience outside of anthrocon last year... ;-;

I was chilling doing my thing and heading back to the hotel, my friend Jake had to leave early back to the hotel so I had to walk back

It was only acouple blocks away from the con so I thought I'd be fine if I just wore my suit back, considering I was a sweaty mess under my suit

What I wasn't expecting was having the shit beaten out of me by people who hate furries

At first I thought they were just normal people but when I had them yelling threats at me I started to get concerned as to what I did wrong

I was almost infront of the hotel when one of them jumped on me and he was a rather larger man, and be being tiny as fuck....... well it didnt end well

When someone saw what was happening they called the cops but the men left before the cops got there

I was in the hospital for 3 weeks or so, having a broken rib and bruised to high hell.

The suit cost my mom $2000 something dollars, and I've had it for accouple years so the warranty to get it fixed wasn't still active or w/e the fuck..

This fuckery that happened is also why it's hard to convince her to let me go to cons in the US now

But on the good side the fuckers were charged with assault and apparently they had drugs on them when the cops found them

But I'm seriously scared to buy another suit after this incident and wear it at a con
