Nicole cautiously wiggled through the loose board in her back fence, tugging a few leaves out of her curls as she walked. Every trail in the forest had been made by Matt with help from her. As they explored they made sure to mash and crush grass and twigs with their shoes so other kids could use the trails later. It was Nicole's favorite place to spend time with Matt when he wasn't allowed to come over.

"Mattie! Matt?" She called out to him, whistling the song they made up to contact each other.

Books arranged in order of when she would need them and a notebook with a single purple fluffy pen tucking in the loops. She was read for her classes, now if only she could get Matt ready.

The girl sighed before yanking the blanket off of his bed. "Matt! Get up! It's time for class, stupid! Come on, you're paying for these classes. May as well go to them."

Chen was already outside their dorm room, waiting oh so patiently for the two to surface so he could take pictures of their first day of classes.
