Tyson Fury knocks out Deontay Wilder in the 11th!
A classic fight!
Wilder is one of the toughest guys in combat sports today. Man is a dog in the ring. Gets absolutely battered. Gets put on the canvas. Gets up and the very next round he drops Tyson Fury twice. The fact that Wilder was able to make it to the 11th round is just absurd. I can’t undersell how much damage dude was eating but he kept going. To his long-term detriment.
Fury was just too much. He definitely thought it was going to be an easier night cause he was just marching forward at certain points ignoring Wilder’s offense. That’s what got him put down. But all the leaning, the head movement, the offense when Wilder would put his back to the ropes. It was too much.
What a damn fight!
For all his technical flaws, the one thing you could always say about Deontay Wilder is that he’s a dog. Dude will fight hurt and tired. Got knocked down and came back and dropped Fury twice.
