“I’ve wanted to, but...” Satsuki knew she needed no occasion to talk to her own little sister, but every time she glanced at the telephone she felt she should have some reason for calling. “I’ve been busy,” she finished, which wasn’t a lie. Kiryuin Satsuki had taken it upon herself to relocate all her former students individually, as well as securing jobs for their families. In addition she’d been rebuilding REVOCS from the ground up, completely changing its purpose. She had no desire to be CEO of the corporation her mother had left.
“You could’ve contacted me at any time as well.” Ryuko would always be welcome in her home, but she may not want to be there. At present Satsuki had moved back in to the Kiryuin family’s mansion. It was far too large for only her, Soroi, and Rei, but until she decided what was to be done with it she would stay there. Finding a new home for herself was at the bottom of her list of priorities. “Neither of us know how to do this, do we?”
I missed you too. It was a simple statement, but the smile that spread across Satsuki’s face showed how much it meant to her. “I’m here now.”
