Been thinking a lot lately about the comic I've been planning for years, named 'Fusion Factor.' Thought I'd post up some bios on the main characters. Been working on some redesigns (completely redoing Astra, formerly Shoumi, and simplifying outfits for more battle practicality). Posting to Tumblr is a good way to brainstorm, and make it look like I'm actually making progress. Basic premise: Set in a near-future where humans have discovered technology to fuse animal DNA with human. To the general public, this is a popular cosmetic surgery. But to a select few who possess a high 'fusion factor' in their blood, this procedure can imbue them not only with the appearance of the animal, but with it's strength and skill, as well. The higher their fusion factor, the more their bodies can be genetically engineered. These special cases are recruited by their government to become super soldiers. Much like nuclear technology, only a fraction of the countries of the world possess the technology, and they keep secret tabs on their population, always searching for the next candidate with a high factor.
