The Problem With Reading...
Is that I don't do enough of it. Even when I've been cramming as many books into my proverbial reading-gut as possible, I still don't seem to read enough. Perhaps we should blame lack of wisdom, though. I am in possession of a generously savage capacity for reading which surfaces every time I'm faced with real life or homework (although it isn't typically directed at the homework- let's do be honest), but I don't seem to have any common sense in reference to the times that I ought to read more. For example, we could reasonably pronounce that if I read when I ought to read, I would never have stirred yogurt into my coffee, nor tipped apple juice into my Nilgiri tea- Yes, we could say that, but I'd rather blame the packaging. Shouldn't milk and fruit juice be color-coded at the very least? And who thought it was a good idea to put yogurt into an opaque milk-or-fruit-juice style carton anyway? I don't think I'd be surprised to see nail polish remover in a milk carton at this point, but in light of my past errors am exceedingly grateful that such a travesty of packaging has not yet occurred. n(T_T)n......Because Europe......n(T_T)n
my body has been fueled by tea and water for the past week,
