i bought a lot of diapers before the tariffs hit, like a lot a lot... like a little over 100 (i know i know for some people that's probably not even that much and for other people it's probably more than they have ever had at once) which is the most i have ever bought at once by a lot. ironically this is also around the time of the xxl goodnite release so i bought the 56 count of the purple kind and the 56 count of the blue kind that way i wouldn't have to find more for a really long time, so basically bought a ridiculous amount of padding given the rate i normally wear (to the point that i genuinely wear way more now because it feels like i have too much lol)

that being said i was looking for little gear online (like pjs, onesies, etc.) and decided to finally try a long sleeve onesie despite my concerns. i am very tall and very narrow so it is super hard to find little attire that fits good enough but i figure worst case the sleeves will be too short and hopefully they are close enough its not annoying, and there was a onesie on clearance i figured i would try too (this is all from rearz, never tried a onesie from them and figured i would given the sale) and i got a changing mat (something else i have always wanted hehe) and figured well might as well order some more diapers too so i can get free shipping

so added all that to cart, was like $200, at the rate i buy this stuff at (not very often i am always paranoid about packages sitting outside, especially ones this sensitive) that is not a big deal at all (what's the point of money if you never spend it right?) but the tariffs made it over $300 total 😭😭😭

and like ok for me personally not a huge deal, financially speaking i am doing good and have a good savings for emergencies and all that so i can splurge here and there without much cause for concern

that being said, it is totally bogus and mad lame that all the diapers cost way more now, and to be clear i am not mad at those making and selling the diapers i am mad at the government for being evil and stupid. like the government has been evil and stupid my entire life but never as evil and stupid as they are being now

i’d say the latter. i doubt the wildrose has a chance, what w/ all the recent exits, and plenty of the usual pc supports are pissed af, but the alberta party has never really been a player.

Yeah I kind of got that sense from what little I know. I’ll admit the ‘living in Quebec most of the year’ thing hasn’t helped me really keep up on things, so I’m kinda just trying to learn what I can between now and the election. 

Like, my riding (Banff-Cochrane) usually goes PC and I don’t think anything has really changed in that front but who knows maybe it has.

Are the pissed PC supporters the more left leaning ones?
