I have been re-reading A's route and was wondering if there would be a love rival (thats not N). The book four demo goes into the MCs' frustration with how A is acting, so maybe they might actually take moving on seriously.
Ok, I don't want to get into spoilers, but I will say…
If there is going to be, it's not the villain from Book Four either. That's more of a catalyst in the romance for the MC to realise some…stuff.
But I will say that I love a romantic foil (is that the right term?). That kind of thing makes my angsty little heart happy. and I have yet to write one for Wayhaven like I'd like to.
So…yeah.
That's all I'll say because I totally spoil too much already, lol! :D
Aughhhh I wanna talk to ppl about writing things but my in person friends haven’t read any of my books and I don’t want to discuss spoilers with my partner 🥺🥺🥺😩😩😩😩😩😭😭😭😭😓😓😓
So, a little update concerning future releases from me: my next release was going to be a Mafia novel, but due to the controversy surrounding current events in America, I have decided to delay that to an indeterminate point in time, and instead, my next novel will be a superhero novel I was working on. I mean, 1. It's one thing to do a fantasy novel that's an allegory versus doing something that is set in the real world, plus 2. I figured the world could use another fun novel in the vein of The Wizard Destroyer. Plus, for those sick of the current crop of big-budget CGI superhero movies, this one is going to parody those quite mercilessly. It even takes some inspiration from The Boys, so if you're a fan of the comic or the Amazon series, you'll find something to love about it.
Hehehe sorry Robin Hood's always been one of my favorites so I was super excited when I saw that😁

@acertainmoshke More Robin Hood Retelling below...
Robin Hood was always one of my favourites too! It's why I decided to give one a try!
I don't have too much for this one yet, but I can dig into the plot-notes I have ready to go...
So the first thing I did was dig into some of the original legends because I didn't want to fall into the trap of rewriting the disney version (No matter that it sparked my love of the legend.)
Earliest surviving copies date from the late 15th century, and do not include Friar Tuck, Maid Marion, or the King Richard & The Crusades storyline, which is the storyline I see most frequently rehashed in literature and media.
The earliest tales also refer to Robin as a Yeoman, and while that meaning changed over time it originally meant a commoner. In the late 15th century is meant a landowner, between a peasant and a lord.
So Robin won't be a little lordling in my retelling. I'll be taking the story "A Gest of Robyn Hode" and twisting it a little into Robin's backstory instead.
A Knight travelling to hand over his lands because he owes a debt he can't repay, and Robin's father giving the Knight the money in exchange for taking Robin on as a squire.
And the Knight's daughter being Marion.
They'll be more magical elements with elves residing within the Greenwood, and after Robin's parents are killed he's raised by the elves, which is how he's able to hide to effectively from the Sheriff's men. There will be Druids and mystical symbolism within nature that Robin can read, and a King who owes the peasant boy his life.
And I have a lot of outlining to do, but those are some highlights from my notes so far :D
I can live without wedding planning and motherhood 😂 (I am assuming this is AMe/D&D3 and future TRH books) but pirated and renaissance book, yes please!!! @boneandfur @wughhumans they are giving us a Renaissance book!!!
