Future Kyle held his hand out. “May I?” he asked. Kyle hesitated for a second, but then handed over Erasmus. “This is what, Mach 3?” his future self asked. “Mach 2,” Kyle replied. Future Kyle’s thumb skirted lovingly across the hand-painted shell of the iPhone. Kyle wondered why his future self cared so much about his old assistant. Kyle thought Erasmus was helpful, sure, but he didn’t think he loved him. Future Kyle pressed the phone’s home button, and said to Erasmus with a grin, “Hello, old friend.”

I was just going through my sent items on my oldest email account, no clue why, and I just read some of the philosophy assignments that I did in 2005/2006!  WOW.  I was so...I was so sure about my beliefs in God at first, and then as I got closer and closer to my final paper I was so skeptical.  Man, I was in such a bubble, it's weird seeing that.  It's cool reading this and seeing me start to just get curious and start to break through this ceiling of God being the answer to everything.  I even talked about me reading my final paper later in life! hahaha

Sorry kyle from 2006, we haven't figured out why we're here yet, but I can tell you this, you're still right for questioning everything and opening up your mind.  Taking that class was probably the best thing to ever happen to you.  I can't believe how much I've changed in 7 years.  I wonder what the hell I'll be like in 2020!!  If future kyle reads this, just know that I will be disappointed if you haven't gotten any of the tattoos you wanted.  Quit being such a bitch and do it already!  Also you better be married.  I don't want to be compared to Ted Mosby dammit.
