When I have my own place I’m going to have a bowl of candy for anyone trick or treating with a bag (aka people who are children or who rightfully do not fear god nor culture), and off to the side a ton of spare bags filled with various candies for the adults (anybody scared to be an adult caught trick or treating, which while a tragedy is fair to fear in capitalism).  There’s gonna be various random ones so they can trade candy with each other or their kids to complete the night.  It pisses me off so much how adults aren’t allowed community and whimsy and innocent fun culturally speaking.  I’ve never given into that shaming and i ain’t startin now.  it’s not even a ‘assholes will take over the holiday’ thing like we can literally do a neighborhood crawl  or have adult trick or treat on a separate day nothing is stopping us. Theres gonna be big signs on my door “ADULTS CAN TRICK OR TREAT HERE, IT HAS BEEN DECREED” because shame and fear can go straight to hell where they belong.   I  eat them for breakfast to fuel my gay witch artist ass.  I hunt them for sport.  I’ll hunt yours.

KLANCE: A Note For the Future

(PREFACE to Racing Hearts, the Mario Kart KLANCE AU that no one asked for)

These are the twilight hours before the dawn if VLD's eighth season, so let us take a moment.

This fandom is crazy.

This fandom is loving.

This fandom is fights and brawls.

This fandom is open.

This fandom is late nights of fanfiction.

This fandom is us.

I love Klance, as I always will; be it endgame or not, though I have a strong feeling that it will be. Regardless of what the future holds for us all, for whatever paths we take, know it is one that we have and will travel together: Voltron. With so many uncertainties and variables, twists the turns, these coming days will come. What happens after I do not known, but I hope you will stand with me when I say that I will forever love these boys.

These boys that are amazing and magical, depending on the fanfic. These boys that have taken a road less travelled, with ups and downs, and found it in themselves to not move back but forwards. How lucky we are, indeed. To have these boys that have have grown together, on their own, to each other. Regardless of what else people may say.

It's clear in my eyes what I'd like, though not always so to others. All that I see leads to Klance, and whether or not my hopes are sewed are a different matter, but I have no fear. We have each other, as do they, for support. We have our own Voltron in this room, in this place in our hearts. In this sequestered changer, and hanging silk. A place where we are free, a place to call our own.

People, long after this final cadence, will not so gracelessly bid farewell to Voltron. Fanfics will continue, as will drawing and comics, and so much more. In the unlikely event Klance wins not the battle, there's enough love in our hearts and the hearts of others t carry it on for us. All these amazing people and their thoughts and their imaginations; there fanfictions and their own worlds, have given us an eternity of Klance for the road less travelled. We have our bonding moments and our leaves, our fights and our meets; we have a family of support, of this we must believe.

We've been through a lot as everyone has. We've been through a lot as Keith and Lance have. What I'm trying to say is, the journey's not over so long as we still yearn for more. What I'm trying to is, that it's not over. What I'm trying to say is, have hope and have faith. Even when we lose, we've still won. Whatever that may be. We just have to know how to find it.

Discourage not for now not the things that have not yet happened. There's still time, and even when that's gone still, there's still this family- for whoever chooses to remain. I saw some people who've given up, and I can't simply let that stand for this community. Have love for S8, blind as it may be. For people to be heard, they must whisper, not shout. Lance's been shouting for Allura, and Keith's been whispering for Lance; there's still 13 episodes yet.

Now aside from all the heavy "I will never give up on you," how 'bout we enjoy what we've been given, yeah? Those who shall win shall lose, as those who shall lose shall win; it's all just a matter of time. I'm proud to be apart of this clan.
