As much as I have a gripe with Jack’s characterisation in Aliens Among Us and God Among Us, Jack’s “Can I go fight the monster again?“ to avoid an uncomfortable conversation in Future pain is spot-on and makes me laugh every single time.

I was hoping to get some work done on the chapter I was on---in linear order, of course---but no! I’ve instead found more words for the epilogue because OMG THE PAIN IT BRINGS. XD!!!! So, yeah. I think I’ll flip flop between them since I have no clue what order this is going to fall out of my head anymore.
