Masterplan proposal to redevelop South Perth and restore the original lagoon that was infilled in the 50s when Narrows Bridge was built.
The proposal includes a riverfront restaurant, pedestrian bridge and restoration of black swan habitats.
Also in proposed for future considerations is the redevelopment of the Oll Mill precinct which currently looks extremely run down, and potential for a museum and marina.
Together with the newly proposed 30 storey apartment by Frasers along Mill Point Road, looks like South Perth is becoming exciting too. Hope this will all happen soon while I'm still working there so that I can enjoy the benefits of a more lively and beautiful foreshore =)
