I NEED EVERYONES HELP!!

So I remember reading a comic on Tumblr at least a year ago and I CANT FIND IT FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!! I could’ve sworn I followed the artist, I can attach pictures of my following list if I need to (idk if this is public info? I haven’t used tumblr since I lost this comic tbh).

It had multiple parts and it went something like this:

It was a Rise of the TMNT comic and it was during the future!arc. It was based around future!mikey and his partner. I think his partner may have been a charterer from another show? But it may have been an OC, I have no idea. I remember Mikey’s partner was a medic of sorts and was always healing people who were injured in the war. His partner was always eating these meat-protein-type food bars to stay alive and have energy. I also remember all of Mikey’s brothers and Casey were always trying to hear Mikey and said partner say “I love you” to each other (they were very stubborn).

The comic was black and white, not colored, and I NEVER GOT TO FINSUH READING IT 💔💔!! Please please please, if you guys and help me find this lovely artwork I will be forever greatful🙏🙏

collectively the fandom has decided the turtles go through massive growth spurts post movie, and yes of course of course but walk with me.

this was supposed to be like two paragraphs but here we are, is anyone surprised??? if you know me you shouldn't be

tw for mentions of malnutrition and future apocalypse war stuff

bad future timeline. they're in an apocalypse. food is scarce and usually plants, meat is hard to come by. unless donnie pulls some artificial meat thing, but becomes hard to come by and his resources are limited. (and after he dies, then what?) I think this botanist would just make plants that are relatively calorie dense--more dense means less to fill one person, more to go around, etc etc, they're fighting the Krang and they need strength however, again, food is scarce. so yes, growth spurts, they grow up, etc. teenagers turn into adults yes of course of course.

but Leo survives, goes back in time with casey, sees how little and young they were when everything started, and food isn't scare. he has all the vitamins he needs. he already towers over young leo, but his shoulder fills out, the bones of his face aren't as prevalent, he never realized how weak he felt until he wasn't running on empty constantly. there's a brightness to his skin, maybe from the sun he hadn't seen in years, maybe from better health, he doesn't know.

he looks in the mirror and imagines what his brothers would have looked like if they were with him, how widely they'd smile at the smallest of things (the sun was shining today. it felt amazing).

every time Leo looks at the good timeline turtles, he sees every difference between them. their skin is brighter, their spots of color, their eyes glow in a way the krang took from him and his brothers. the light in their eyes, the way they carry themselves without the constant exhaustion.

little leo ends up an inch taller than him. it's not a huge difference, but it's there. the others, they grow up to be a little taller, a little bigger then he remembers his brothers, because they weren't malnourished. he's got this brightness to him that leo had to forgo, he wasn't able to balance it alongside the weight of the world like younger him can. he thinks his brothers would have preferred to grow up alongside younger leo, he was everything they pushed him to be and more

raph's muscles are more defined and his knuckles aren't constantly bruised. there's no cracks in his plastron, just the one from their own battle with the krang. he smiles brightly, still so, so gentle. his spikes are stable and his skin is soft. the callouses from training are nothing compared to what f!raph had. he was always covered in bandages. always. he doesn't grow to be much taller than leo's raph, but he's significantly bulkier. his muscles are formed from training and not long, dangerous fights with the krang. they're born from a love and not necessity

mikey, he can't look at mikey for long. mikey walks, because he has the strength to stand on his feet. he runs, because he's not aging rapidly. leo had forgotten how vibrant green his skin was, long since faded. he gets specks of vibrant deep warm brown hair, a color he never saw his mikey wear. there's no specks of gray. he's still little, smaller than the rest of them, but Leo's mikey was skin and bones. no matter what they did--donnie was always trying to come up with ways to help--he couldn't keep weight on. present mikey is so beautifully healthy. there were scars on his hands from the portal, but there weren't bright and vibrant and taking everything he had.

and donnie, his donnie had constant bruises on his shoulders. he never took his battle shell off, too dangerous, the krang could attack at any minute and he'd be vulnerable. Leo can't remember the last time he saw it prior to donnie's death. had it really been years? of all of them, he gets the tallest in comparison to his future self. Leo tries not to think about the meals donnie skipped, "I'm not in the front lines, our fighters need it more", the sleep he never got. his donnie bore a bone deep exhaustion, leo's not sure his brother ever rested during the apocalypse with so much infrastructure depending on him. donnie had his own share of scars from the fighting, but he destroyed himself too. he should have done more he should have supported him and then he wouldn't have--

anyway yeah f!leo being reminded that his brothers lived a war and will never escape it

unless, yk, they somehow end up in this timeline and he gets to see them recover, see their eyes shine and their bodies fill out

I completely read through all of their rottmnt apocalyptic series last night and today, cried and kicked my feet.

As someone who really likes Monkie MK…. I really like turtle Casey Jr. he’s such a cutie patootie:DDDD

(I wanted to rewatch the movie after reading the comic but it’s not on paramount+ and I don’t have Netflix which I say is a crime🫠)

Rise!Raph and the Leos

'87 Leonardo

Leonardo is the oldest of the Leos and immediately adopted Rise Raph

Definitely soft but firm with him

Sits on his shoulders for peak bonding performance

Referred to as Gruncle

I honestly need to rewatch '87 I don't remember a lot.

03 Leonardo

A bit cautious do to his size but mother's him.

Teaching ninjitsu baby!

Gives head pats as reward

Definitely learned to cook for Rise Raph

Shows him how to best use his size and get over his clumsiness

A bit harsher compared to his other counterparts minus '07.

Has been told to relax by his brothers.

Referred to as Mama Nardo

(again need to rewatch 03, I remember episodes but it's more character down the seasons than anything.)

'07 Leonardo

A bit more calm towards Rise Raph but cautious because Raph.

Takes him to South America, definitely writes this time.

It's a group effort to keep an eye on Rise Raph, they all teach and help him.

Splinter wants the adoption papers

Leo is referred to as Uncle

(Haven't made any of my own HC for 07 yet, just watched it this year.)

Not hostile but openly weary of younger turtle

Definitely gets taken care of while keeping an eye on Raphie

Squishes his cheeks when he's comfortable

Hostile and unwelcoming

His brothers keep majority an eye on Rise Raph

Picks on him until Splinter yells at him

Gets shown up as Leader multiple times

He actually starts liking Rise Raph as he has to go...

Absolute baby for his big brother

They definitely have secret hangouts together

Who's more annoying contest, the results are ignored because nobody will believe it.

Came out to Raph before anyone else, also introduced his boyfriend before even mentioning his existence.

Overprotective of his big little brother

Knows he's going overboard with his protection but the lad went too long without his big bro

After gets yelled at, he lets loose but agrees to the Raph rule of call every hour and the latest you can go is two.

More often than not helping with both him and his brothers

Writing Prompt (part 1)

So a while back i was scrolling on here and found a list of writing prompts, got really inspired and stuff so here's what I wrote. I'll probably write more later but who knows?

The prompt:

You’ve noticed a pattern. Whenever you try dieting, your favorite restaurant has an unlimited nacho night or your friend has coupons for a free Pizza. It’s the apocalypse, rations are running low. As a joke, you say you’re going on a diet. Seemingly on que, you hear a knock on your bunker door. (The actual thing i wrote is after the cut)

Leo has started to notice a pattern, any time he tries to save on rations, someone  (mostly Mikey now that he thinks about it) always manages to show up with more food, or convince him that there’s more than enough for everyone. It’s the middle of the apocalypse, rations should be running low by now but somehow they aren’t. He’s starting to become very suspicious of this, so he tries to skip a meal, and gives his food to Casey Jr. Almost right on que, Mikey shows up in the mess hall with an extra plate and heads straight towards him and CJ.

Leo stares at his brother as Mikey sits down next to him, setting the extra plate in front of him. “Mikey how did you even..” He gets cut off by Mikey putting up his hand to stop him, “you know we have enough food Leo, you can eat.”

He sits there for a long while, contemplating what just happened as he stares at the food before slowly picking up his utensil and eating the food. They sat there in silence for a while, letting the noise of the mess hall surround them as they ate in silence together before he finally got tired of them not talking and finally breaking the silence between them. “Mikey, how did you get this food? Because last I checked, we didn’t have enough food for everyone to be eating this much.” He asked, turning to face his youngest brother as he did.

Mikey sat there for a moment, continuing to eat his food before finally sighing and responding, “I just found some extras in the storage… It’s really not that big of a deal-” “Where.” Leo was staring at him hard now, practically glaring at his younger brother as he gripped the edge of the table. “You know.. In the storage? It was hidden behind some boxes, but there was food..” He said, slightly less sure of himself now.

“No, Mikey. I mean where specifically. Show me.” Mikey stared at him for a moment, fidgeting with his hands before standing up and leading him towards a storage room not too far from the mess hall, turning into the room Leo sees that it’s not just a storage room with food, it has wires and what looks to be parts of robots, or computers. Something like that, he’s really not too sure. Mikey fidgets with his bandages again, picking at them and staring at the large boxes as he starts talking, “it was in that back corner, I thought it would be okay to take the food since there’s other food in here too…” Mikey mumbles as he continues to just stand there and fidget with his bandages. Leo finally breaks away from his thoughts and moves without a word to the back right corner of the mostly dark room.
