Night Spotlight: Applebottom

I thought I'd start the Spotlights with an artist I've loved for well over a year - Joe Arthur, otherwise known as Applebottom. 

A youngun like me, he burst out on the Bristol scene impressing a lot of people very quickly. I respect a man who samples Beyonce and changes it up so well I am firmly committed to my bass face.

His music is a mixture of Garage, House and has touches of Hip-Hop and true 90s R'n'B. You could listen to 'I.M.O.G.E.N.' whilst you're brushing your teeth and 'Licked' when you're... drinking... squash... and... working... out. Yeah. Not off your tits at a barrier.

I've compiled a quick playlist of my Applebottom favourites and if you haven't heard of him yet I URGE you to give it a listen, you will not be disappointed. If you have, tell me what you think of my picks and what your favourites are.
