My story so far.... . If you’ve been around a while, or followed me through the years, you may know a little of my story. For those that are new here, hi. 👋🏼 . I’ve gone by a lot of titles through the years - mom, model, hairstylist, veteran, wife, and mostly recently NPC competitor. Some might see my jump into fitness as a sudden change, but it’s actually anything but. . Growing up I was a track and cross country athlete, as well as an avid weightlifter. I idolized the fitness competitors and models I saw gracing the covers of Oxygen and other fitness magazines. When I started getting tattooed (at 16 years old), a part of me just accepted that fitness modeling wasn’t in the cards for me because there wasn’t anyone in the magazines that looked like me. . Fast forward to last year, after dabbling in modeling a decade and being told I was too muscular and to scale it back, I said enough is enough. I finally dedicated myself to following my dreams, even if there was no one that looked like me in the industry. . As a heavily tattooed mother of 4 children there is no one out there doing it (what I aspire to do) that looks like me. I don’t see any IFBB figure pros or successful fitness professionals with my look, with my background, and I’ve decided to be relentless in my pursuit of being the first. . If you have no one to follow, make your own path. . #goaldigger #futurefigurepro #bikinitofigure #relentlesspursuit #bethefirst photo by @davidnguyennow (at Queen Creek, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw_FWGTnoTA/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ia63ftmomyni
