Gold hadn’t been in the area long when she overheard someone ranting about a ‘thief’. As Gold had listened to the description, it reminded her an awful lot of... Silver. So of course, she became curious and began to do some digging-- all of which lead her to here.
She finally found the culprit, slouched over and messing with most curious looking stone. When she had approached him and finally said something, he immediately hid the stone as though she wasn’t supposed to see it.
And when he faced her, he did indeed look like Silver.
“S-silver is that--” Gold stopped before she could finish. Yes, the physical resemblance was uncanny, but the mannerisms, were not quite of him. For one, the fact that he didn’t know who she was, and secondly-- Silver would never hide anything from her or the professor. They were a team and hid nothing from one another.
“I’m sorry, forget what I said,” she averted her eyes down to her feet and cupped her hand over her mouth as she contemplated. After a moment she made eye contact with him once more.
“You seem really upset about something...” the tenrec then slowly kneeled down in front of him, a warm smile on her face.
“Is there anything I can do to help?”
