I got reminded of these cute kids at my work--I guess I'd helped them and their parents get two parakeets a little while back, but one died so they came back to get two more. Not only were they really nice but they all remembered me (to be fair, I'm the only full time employee in the department and I have colorful hair) and the kids gave me hugs after I finished getting their birds. I was surprised and kind of just patted their heads in response but it was nice.

Remembering this also reminded me just how /much/ I need contact right now, fuck. I need more hugs/cuddles but school has started for people and so everyone's even busier than usual. :///
