For a day or two, now, M'yana had been hiding. Observing. Making mental notes of what the people of this world opened up most to. For this city, at least, she noted that the people here loved theatrics. They'd hang on to every second of a spectacle given to them. The 'court' transcripts she had seen printed in their news solidified as much.
A bit annoying, since she knew she'd be exhausted by the time she went home. Some isolation would be sorely needed once she turned in her report. But, she wasn't one to slack off on a job. If the people responded to theatrics, theatrics she would give.
She took a deep breath to steel herself, stepping out of the shadows. The chimera shifted her posture, assuming the demeanor of someone confident, loud, bold. She mingled with the city's people, putting on the charms, being as dramatic as she could manage.
They flocked to her. They spoke to her. She learned many valuable things.
And now, she danced on the street to attract more information. Her smile was charming, perfect even. But to the trained eye, or even someone who had experienced such personally... The smile didn't reach her eyes. Hidden in her eyes was pure exhaustion.
