Glacier mice! Little balls of moss which live on glaciers and which no one quite understands (they seem to move in flocks, and it’s not dependent on slope or wind)…favourite sentence:
“This new work adds to a very small body of research on these fuzz balls, even though glaciologists have long known about them and tend to be fond of them.”
Moss balls seem to roll around glaciers in a coordinated way, and researchers can't explain why the whole group moves at about the same spee
