"Anyone recognise the circuit? It has a pretty low out put and think something is a bit off, can anybody see any glaring issues?"

Sperrin - Fuzz Box
"... was made by David Sperrin, in Southport, in the North of England. The model was advertised in the music press various times during 1966. What little is known about this obscure fuzz box comes from press cuttings, and from the testimony of Simon Sperrin (David’s son). ... The Sperrin Fuzz Boxes were assembled by David Sperrin at the family home on Matlock Road, in conjunction David’s wife, Beryl, who posted the fuzz boxes to their customers. A description in the press of the model reveals it to have been a foot-operated pedal, with two basic control knobs with which to adjust the sound. No examples of the Sperrin Fuzz Box are known yet to have actually survived."

Royal - RF-1 - FUZZ - FUZZ BOX
"... I believe them to be from the late 60s through the early 70s. They were made by a company called "Thunder Electronics" out of Japan. The most common variant is the Royal branded version like you have here, but there is a Thunder Electronics version and a super rare Aria version as well. ... Much of the value in yours lies in having the original box (which as you see uses the same label they had made for their Fuzz Wah pedal) (Ed Skymall)

Knight - Fuzz Box KG-389 (1967)
“ ... build-it-yourself kit. It was sold exclusively by Allied Radio of Chicago through their mail-order catalogs from 1967 through 1972. ... While it does sound cool as hell, one of my favorite things about this pedal is actually the borderline-ridiculous advertising slogans like, “Turn on this electronic fuzz box, and your audience too, for the wildest sound they ever heard." and “Turn on your guitar to freak out your audiences!” “
