perhaps his anger had gotten the better of him, but after the reveal that the other man was infact lucifer, how could he merely just let such a thing slide as if it were nothing? he COULDN'T, it was impossible. there- fore he had to punish him for becoming something so evil, something and someONE that was the number one enemy.
