Do You Know || Meixin & Derek
Meixin woke up late since her shift started later in the day and decided to just head down to the Inn since she had nothing better to do. She took a long hot shower and made sure to wash her hair as well so it smelled like strawberries, after she blow dried her hair she put on her clothes for the inn and continued on down the stairs with her messenger bag full of art supplies. She slipped on her flats and went to the back of the place she lived at and pulled out her light blue bike, getting on she peddled down the road and on down to the inn. As she peddled she passed by a dark figure with orange brown hair, she turned back to get a better look at him but was forced to turn back to face forward so she wouldn't crash into anything.
Mei after she parked her bike in the back of the inn she walked in from the back door, she sat on the bartenders side of the counter and pulled out her sketch pad and began drawing the inside of the inn blindly. It seems that she had been working there for so long that she knows what the inn looks like from just her mind, she was even able to draw the inn with her eyes closed. She knew the place inside and out and probably would owe it to the manager and the boss to give her this job even at a young age. She continued to draw and sketch and even added shades of color, Mei even thought of turning the page over and drawing what behind the counter looked like with the drinks and cups stacked up.
As she drew and sketched her heart out her pencil finally broke.
"Oh no... That was the only pencil I brought with me..." She sucked her teeth and went through her bag looking for another pencil until she finally found a green, only for her butter fingers to suddenly drop the pencil under the counter and to the other side. She went to follow it and crouched down under a person's stool.
"I'm sorry..." She tapped the persons leg. "I dropped my pencil can you grab it for me? Its under the counter near your stool..."
