TASK #2: dreams for the future
When Aldemar dreams for the future, he dreams of family. He has always wanted a big family, having tiny versions of himself and his partner trotting around the house that he bought in Fenway. He dreams of watching his children growing up loved, and in turn loving others as well. He dreams of quiet nights where he spent with his partner in bed, talking about the day, about everything and nothing. He hasn’t had any luck in that part of his life thus far, unfortunately, though he hopes it will change sooner rather than later. Until then, he has the Slough pack that he looks after like a second family, welcoming every member with open arms.
He dreams of reconciliation too, with his family who still resides in Nottinghamshire. In the past years that he resides in Fenrirswood, he has tried to reach out to his family, despite knowing how his father feels about what he has become, despite the warnings that his father has sent him the night he tried to ask for his help before departing to Fenrirswood. But Aldemar has not given up and continues to hope.
He dreams of bring his mother and his siblings to Fenrirswood, in hopes to change their minds about their deep rooted and twisted beliefs about witches and werewolves. He hopes to open their eyes and let them see that the two shouldn’t be at odds but should stand together, shoulder to shoulder, as what the coven leaders and pack leaders have done in Fenrirswood. He wants them to see that it was possible, that it wasn’t just a fairy tale hanging too far for them to reach.
In the meantime, he will continue to dream for the future, will continue to hope.
