This blog is moving to blog.fwsds.org! The name will be the same (fwsds) but this particular blog that you currently follow will be getting a new URL and then will soon be deleted. To continue following the adventures of the Fort Worth Swing Dance Syndicate, make sure you head over to blog.fwsds.org and refollow us there.

Sorry for the confusion! When this blog was created, it was a secondary blog, when really it should have been a primary blog. To rectify that situation, a new blog had to be created! So that being said, go follow! We will be blogging much more regularly, now that this issue is resolved.

Do you live within driving distance of north Texas? Then we hope you'll join us for our 10th Anniversary Dance & Lindy Crawl!

FWSDS is celebrating 10 years of bringing swing dancing and music to the north Texas community. To mark this occasion, we are having a very special dance, featuring live music from our friends the Matt Tolentino Band, and a raffle featuring prizes ranging from local business offerings to dance passes to national events! Though the dance technically ends at 11:30 that night, the party doesn't! We'll be having an awesome after party, to keep the dancing going.

But it doesn't stop there! Saturday, February 9th, we'll be up and about on Magnolia Street in Fort Worth, lindying our way down the avenue. It's Fort Worth's first ever Lindy Crawl! As we patronize the local businesses on Magnolia, we'll dance in and out of many patios and street fronts, sharing the joy of dancing with the public! And that's not all. That evening, there is a dance at Sammons Center in Dallas!

A weekend filled with dancing. That's my kind of weekend.
