It's a good thing they are planning to close the office tomorrow.

All that white stuff on the ground is NOT snow! Well, not all of it. The overwhelming majority of what is covering everything is actually just ice!

You can walk all over it and barely leave any footprints. Luckily, there is a bit of sleet on the ground too, making it a little rougher. So you're slightly less likely to bust your ass if you try walking on it.

Even if they did expect us to work tomorrow, I would be calling in to take the day off. The short street and roundabout my apartment complex is on, as well as the parking lot itself, do not get treated in this weather. So I'm kind of stuck until it starts to melt. Though, not exactly sure when that will be, since the sun is not expected to make another appearance here anytime soon, and the temperature outside is not predicted to get even slightly above freezing until sometime on Tuesday afternoon.

At least it's not expected to be as bad as the massive winter storm of 2021.
