Reaction - Amber Sees You Lifting A Heavy Box (Male Reader)
Request: I was wondering if could request a react of BTS or Amber seeing their male partner lifting something heavy. (I.E. weights at gym, a heavy box while moving etc.)
A/N – Sorry it took so long! Things have been mental for me, so everything’s been delayed. This ended up a little fluffier than I intended, but I hope you like! I hope to be doing the BTS version as well, down the line, but I wanted to get this one out first because, let’s be honest, Amber is queen. Thank you for the request!!
You hadn’t had a chance to clean fully in months, and the extra time you’d had lately had been spent in far too much procrastination and not enough actual work. You were stuck indoors due to a heat wave, so when Amber had called to say she had to rehearse longer that day and so would be coming home much later than normal, you decided to get off your butt, take advantage of the coolness indoors, and get some of the organising done that so desperately needed to be attended to. Most of it was easier than you had expected, and you were glad when you looked around to see that the dvds were all in their right place, the games tidied properly, and even the laundry folded and put away. All that remained was to get the giant box of gifts from fans moved into the attic, since that had become a sort of office for your girlfriend. You used your feet to shuffle it into position at the base of the stairs, standing and staring at it for a good minute as you calculated the best way to attack it, before deciding on the direct approach.
Amber’s rehearsal had ended up running shorter than expected, and she rushed home to be with her baby, eager to hug and hold the darling she got to call her boyfriend. Wanting to surprise you, she opened the door as silently as she could, dropping her backpack beside the door as she went on the search for you. She headed for the kitchen first, your usual domain since you were always making snacks for her after work, but you were nowhere in sight. She almost decided to call out for you, when she heard a sound from the hallway and moved quietly toward it, her eyes widening at the sight of you bending over to lift the box full of gifts, sweatpants stretching tight over your rear and slipping down slightly, just enough to show the edge of your underwear while the muscles in your bare back flexed with the weight of the box.
She couldn’t help it. She tiptoed up behind you and wrapped her arms around you, hands planted flat over your stomach as she pecked kisses over your shoulder before resting her cheek against it. This was the kind of domestic bliss she loved, a break from the craziness of being an idol when she could simply come home to you and hold you and just…be. As you set the box back down to turn around to face her, she gave you one of the rare, gentle smiles so few people saw before pressing her lips gently to yours.
Isn’t she just adorable?
“You know I love you, right? Maybe later you can show me just what else you can do with those muscles.”
