Even though Songsong didn’t medal in the floor final I am still SUPER proud of her. I think this is the strongest and cleanest she has looked since leaving the national team. I have NEVER seen her get her double pike that good before. I know it’s not perfect but she actually got HEIGHT!
My least favourite thing about her was always her lack of musicality, but she consistently stayed on beat in that chorey after her Gomez every time she did this routine. Whichever Hubei coach finally taught her to count music, I LOVE YOU
In conclusion, I will stan this gymnast until the day I die, no matter how unlikely it is that she ever sees any real success, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
