The raven was fighting through the alleyway of Traverse Town, striking down several Shadows as she went. Keeping the Heartless population under control was her goal for the time being. Yet... she tightened her grip on her Keyblade. She was normally too accustomed to stealth operations, but she couldn't just risk letting someone lose themselves! "Look out!" She called out, leaping in to swipe the Neoshadow away. (Xion)
Traverse Town was meant to be a safe haven, a place for people whose homes were lost to darkness. At least, that’s what she’d been told… but from where Amanda stood just in front of the Second District door, she had to sincerely doubt that.
Those same inky black monsters that swarmed her home returned to this “safe haven”, running absolute wild… Amanda wanted nothing more than to hide in her guardian’s store, but there was still a whole district between her, and there. Her magic was so weak now, without her home… but she was still a mage! Amanda pressed a resolute fist tightly against her chest, before calling on it.
The edges of her braids began to lift and glow a soft red, and she extended a hand to the crowd of Heartless monsters. “Blaze!” Fire swept across her arm, with just enough power to knock back the monsters…and even enough to kill a few of them. Seizing the chance, Amanda shoved the door aside and rushed through, slamming it shut behind her in the hopefully safer District One.
After taking a moment to catch her breath, the mage opened her eyes only to gasp aloud. There were monsters on this side too… a much taller one than what she was “used” to! Did that make this one that much stronger, too? She could just barely hold back a small one… As the monster approached, Amanda stood frozen but glaring in her spot against the door. Go on then, strike me!
Amanda squeezed her eyes shut as the Heartless lunged for her, but the sound of metal striking it made her open them again. “H, huh?!” she gasped, taking in a figure in black with a giant silver key… was that a weapon? She was too stunned to say a word, but gave a mental prayer of thanks to be saved.
