Both Ash and Gary knew it was to come eventually. Sooner or later, Ash’s fame would catch up with him, and thus, them, and would need some sort of managing. While Ash was still very humble about his win, and very modest in general, Gary, however, was not. He already knew fame from his grandfather’s name, and he knew Gou was a bit more understanding.
Which is why the idea to do a nation wide search for a personal assistant slash stylist was well, it was more of Gary’s idea, since Ash had no idea about any of these sorts of things. And to keep Ash safe from random fans, the announcement was vague about the up and coming star. Was it a movie star? a trainer? Someone else, perhaps? It was left to be mysterious on purpose, with only a few requirements for entry: design three looks from head to toe: Athletic, night on the town, business meeting. As Gary dug through the horrendous portfolio of someone named Jessilina, he rolled his eyes, immediately trashing the gaudy look. It was too faux and gaudy, and even in his early years would never wear clothes like that. And when he came across the next applicant, a smile slid across his lips.
“Mr. Morgan?” He could only see the portfolio of the applicant, nothing about the man he was interviewing. He wanted to go off talent alone. “Please talk me through the three looks. We will then decide if you’re fit enough to go on.”
