Hayden was about to push the covers off and get out of bed when the bedroom door swung fully open to reveal Oz, carrying a tray. The scent of coffee and french toast wafted tantalizing toward Hayden as Oz approached and set the tray down. There was a flower in a little vase, the newspaper, and all Hayden’s favorite breakfast foods. For a moment Hayden stared from Oz’s face to the tray and back again. “Thank you,” Hayden told him after a moment, “but I have to ask. You actually have breakfast tray? For breakfast in bed? Do you entertain a lot of elderly Victorian women or something?” They kept their voice light and teasing, but just in case Oz, they lifted Oz’s hand from the where it now rested on the bed and kissed his fingers. “You spoil me too much, Oz,” they murmured against his knuckles.
