Muu had just started out on his journey not a few months ago, leaving a confused yet agreeable sister behind. This journey would be dangerous enough, and she was still young.

Finding the other fanalis would be the easy part, they weren’t hard to spot, but the hard part would be earning their freedom.

Not too long before leaving on this journey, he’d gone and conquered Barbatos’ dungeon with Lady Scheherazade’s blessing. He still had the wealth from within, but he couldn’t afford to flash it around.

Hearing of a noble in the countryside with a sizable enslaved populace under his command, it was a good enough place to start. The home was situated near the mountains, with fields to grow crops and a mine to harvest mineral ore.

Muu was passing by, on the way to meet with this nobleman, when something caught his eye.

Giant, bright red, and strong. Even seemingly half-starved, he knew a strong man when he saw one.

Razol had trouble sleeping that night, turning and tossing in her bed. Maybe it was the moon that shone a bit too brightly inside her room, or maybe because her mind couldn’t relax with thoughts and memories resurfacing. A rough scream startled her, she waited a bit before hearing it again, her feet bringing her to the corridor.

Roh. 

She hesitated an instant before finally pushing the door open, witnessing the massive Fanalis mumbling unintelligibly and writhing on his bed. The petite woman wondered what to do. She couldn’t leave him like this, trapped within something so painful and yet, judging by how violently he reacted, she was worried about his possible reaction if he didn’t woke up and instead turned against her....

He shouted again.

She placed her hands upon his shoulder, trying her best to keep him rather still. “Roh wake up! That’s not true! Captain is here, we’re all here now!”

It eventually worked somehow.

“ s’fine, I couldn’t sleep anyway...” she answers while sitting on the side of his bed, letting her legs hang loose. She doesn’t really know what to add, but thinks maybe her presence would help a bit. It has happened to her as well, heck probably the whole corp, and in her case, the loneliness and weakness she felt just after were just as draining.

Sure enough once she paid attention she saw him munching away at the fruit, though she didn’t entirely expect the question to be turned back on her. Messing with the hem of the tunic she was wearing (totally not one of Muu’s that she had claimed as her pajamas) before answering him. 

“ ‘m just more awake tonight than usual...my species is technically supposed t’ sleep during the day. I didn’t want to wake Muu up so I decided to go on a walk.” She had been wandering around for a good couple hours now, not really any destination in mind, just keeping herself occupied. Thought that wasn’t her only reason either. 

Serpentine hues watched the other for almost a full minute before she spoke again. “Doesnt seem like jus’ hunger keeping you up t’ me, though.”

It was one of those days there were just too many nobles just wandering around the estate....she didnt want to stay cooped up in Muu’s bedroom all day to avoid them so instead chose to head outside for some fresh air. 

She hadnt really met well...any of the corps yet. She was fairly she they knew she was around since she had been there for a couple months now her scent must have been everywhere. Aya was too absorbed in her own thoughts to pay much attention to her surroundings, wandering out into the yard where the corps usually gathered to train though it was fairly empty now. It always got a lot of sun, so that made it attractive for the prospect of a nap or just relaxing outdoors.

I know & it would make sense for something to go wrong, just because there has to be a “ darkness “ for the red dragon to come again & for sword & shield to appear but still... I don’t want Yona’s plan to backfire so badly that Taejun has to pay for it & it’s hinted already that her decision might get him in trouble & ... I don’t want him to die? He got the best development ever, protect taejun at all costs !
